Datalab CBI² projects

BI4People

BI4people is an innovative project, subsidized by the French National Research Agency (ANR), which aims to democratize access to powerful data analysis tools. While these tools are essential for businesses, they are often too complex and costly for small organizations, associations or individuals.

BI4people aims to propose and develop a simple, intuitive platform that enables everyone to analyze their data, whatever their technical expertise. This platform will enable the integration of data from different sources, as well as collaborative analyses accessible via a simple, ergonomic user interface.

The aim is to enable users to make informed decisions based on their data. BI4people is an invaluable tool for small businesses wishing to improve their efficiency, associations wishing to better understand their audience, or even individuals wishing to analyze personal data such as energy consumption, daily expenses, etc.

To democratize decision-making data analysis, the BI4PEOPLE application implements a sophisticated data pipeline, offering the following functionalities :

  • Integration of heterogeneous multi-source data while preserving semantic consistency,
  • Automatic modeling of the data warehouse,
  • Simplified data visualizations adapted to specific use cases.
  • Collaborative analysis involving multiple users.
  • Personal data protection and compliance with RGPD regulations.

This project was carried out in collaboration with the following laboratories ERIC Lyon, ELICO Lyon, IRIT Toulouse, LIFAT Tours and the associations TUBÀ Lyon and FING.
