AI expertise and Data engineering services for the Group Data Office

Context

The Paris Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIR) and all its constituent entities are committed to a data strategy aimed at better understanding the region’s businesses, thanks to qualified and secure data. In this context, a multi-tender framework agreement has been launched to support the Data Office in meeting its business needs. As an expert in Data Intelligence and AI, TRIMANE was selected to support the CCI in implementing its data strategy.

Challenges

The main challenges for CCI include :

  • Centralizing the data function within the Group Data Office.
  • Building a solid data skills base.
  • Strengthening data analysis.
  • Improving IT systems to meet massive analysis requirements.
  • Implementing an effective data governance policy.

Solutions & methodologies

To meet the needs of the Data Office, TRIMANE has set up a center of excellence organization comprising a Competence Center (CDC) and a Project Center:

  • Competence Center : This center is dedicated to managing the resources qualified and trained to work with the Data Office. It constitutes a pool of consultants adapted to the CCI’s existing and future needs, guaranteeing relevant expertise in data analysis projects.

  • Project department : This department is responsible for monitoring and managing the consultants assigned to projects. Each consultant is managed directly by the CCI Data Office. Follow-up meetings are held regularly to assess project progress and share feedback. These exchanges enable us to capitalize on lessons learned, optimize resources and align consultants’ skills with the CCI’s specific needs.

The technical stack associated with this contract includes tools such as Talend for ETL, SAP BI for reporting, Power BI for data visualization, PostgreSQL as a DBMS, and Microsoft Copilot for artificial intelligence.

TRIMANE has won the first subsequent contract in the framework agreement, aimed at supporting the Managing Director in implementing his roadmap for 2025, focused on innovation and AI. Indeed, in response to the rapid advances in artificial intelligence (AI), particularly with the rise of generative AI, the CCI wishes to integrate these innovations into its 2030 strategy, starting with the 2025 plan. To this end, TRIMANE has been commissioned to carry out a preliminary study on several AI use cases aimed at improving internal processes and meeting the CCI’s strategic challenges.

Benefits

Working with TRIMANE enables the CCI Paris Île-de-France to :

  • Have access to a team of AI and Data Science experts, guaranteeing a good understanding of the use cases to be studied, combining skills in AI, Data and project management.
  • Establish a climate of trust through transparent, clear and effective communication.
  • Unite and sensitize business referents to the potential results of AI, and popularize technical concepts to make them understandable to a non-specialized audience.
  • Unite stakeholders to ensure their buy-in and commitment to integrating AI into their practices.
  • Benefit from a personalized approach, adapted to the CCI’s specific needs.
  • Use agile methodologies for flexible, responsive project management, facilitating adjustments during implementation.
  • Ensure an understanding of the ethical implications of using AI and the regulations in force to guarantee that the solutions developed are responsible and compliant with standards.

This strategic approach positions the CCI as a reference player in the use of data and artificial intelligence for the economic development of its territory.
