HEC Paris’ Digital Transformation : The TRIMANE–iORGA Consortium Has Been Listed in Its IT Project Management Framework Agreement
As part of its 2026–2030 strategic roadmap, HEC Paris has selected the TRIMANE–iORGA consortium—comprising entities from the Capital B Group—as one of the three successful bidders for Lot 2 of its multi-vendor framework agreement for IT project management. The consortium is proud to support HEC Paris’s digital transformation through 2030.
This selection, resulting from a rigorous competitive process, recognizes the complementary expertise of the two entities and their ability to support the digital transformation projects of a world-class academic institution. This achievement reinforces the Capital B Group’s position in addressing the digital transformation challenges of HEC Paris and major higher education institutions.
The Challenges of HEC Paris’s Digital Transformation by 2030
Founded in 1881 and consistently ranked among the world’s top business schools, HEC Paris is embarking on an ambitious digital modernization program with a 2030 target. The success of HEC Paris’s digital transformation rests on three key priorities : upgrading its ERP systems in the areas of student affairs and finance, strengthening its Data & AI strategy, and improving the digital experience for its students, researchers, and international partners.
To support this transformation, HEC Paris has chosen a partner capable of addressing both the evolution of its existing application portfolio and digital transformation projects.
The complementary expertise of iORGA and TRIMANE
The framework agreement awarded to the consortium covers the entire lifecycle of IT projects: preliminary scoping, design, development, integration, acceptance testing, deployment, and skills transfer. The technological scope is broad: the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Power BI, .NET, Power Platform), ETL Talend for data engineering, and ERP systems specific to the academic sector.
This scope reflects the synergy between the two entities in the consortium to meet the digital transformation needs of HEC Paris:
- TRIMANE brings its expertise in Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Business Intelligence.
- iORGA leverages its expertise in software architecture and application development.
Together, they offer a rare level of functional and technical coverage, tailored to the requirements of an institution of excellence.
Proven experience in the academic and public sectors
The decision to choose HEC Paris is based on a solid track record. The consortium already works with leading organizations such as the Institut Mines-Télécom and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry. This experience gives it a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by academic institutions: interoperability of information systems, securing sensitive data, GDPR compliance, and optimizing business processes.
A dedicated and structured service center
To meet HEC Paris’s requirements for responsiveness and reliability, the consortium is deploying a dedicated Service Center, organized around a project hub, a software factory, and a center of expertise. This structure is supported by the group’s Data & Digital Factory, a cross-functional team of experts comprising more than 20 specialists—including architects, the Chief Information Security Officer, and the Data Protection Officer.
The governance framework combines strategic steering (quarterly steering committee meetings) with operational monitoring (monthly project committees, weekly status updates), all supported by ClickUp, SharePoint, Teams, and GitLab to ensure full transparency on project progress.
A commitment that goes beyond the technical aspects
CSR plays a central role in the consortium’s approach: it has received an EcoVadis medal, is a signatory to the Responsible Digital Charter, maintains a gender equality index consistently above 80/100, and is committed to low-carbon mobility. Furthermore, QUALIOPI certification reinforces the consortium’s ability to ensure a structured and sustainable transfer of skills—a particularly strategic priority in an academic environment.
This partnership with HEC Paris demonstrates the Capital B Group’s ability to support institutions of excellence in their most demanding transformations, combining methodological rigor, technical depth, and responsibility.
